Peach trees vary from 2 (two) foot to 8 (eight) feet tall. Trees sell at $10 per foot in 5 and 15 gallon planters. These are not bare root peach trees, so there is no rush to get them into the ground. Anytime in the next 6 months will be fine. Peach trees are all grown from seed. Trees of 5 feet and above bore peaches this last season. Many trees have good blossom buds already, preparing for blossom time for the spring of xxxx.
Peach trees in 55 gallon containers/barrels/drums/planters are fuller in appearance. Peach trees in 55 gallon barrels also cost $10 per foot, plus the cost of the 55 gallon planter of $35. A 4 foot peach tree in a 55 gallon planter would cost $75. Peach trees can be kept for a few years in these large planters before planting them in the ground.
